Purple Petticoats Coral Bell’s leaves are different shades of purple on top and burgundy on the bottom. The dark ruffled foliage, in a dense mound, is a unique companion to typical green leaved perennials. These usually bloom in June in airy white clusters and get their best color when grown in part shade.
