Dogwood, Redtwig
Redtwig Dogwood is a valuable shrub in the home landscape. Flowers are apparent in spring, an understated white, and bloom sporadically through the summer. Its leaves are a handsome bright green spring through summer, turning a nice red or purple in fall. Once the leaves drop, the bright red stems become visible. This is a very pretty touch in the landscape, standing out strikingly after a snowfall. The Redtwig will grow happily in a wide variety of landscape situations and is extremely happy in wet conditions that are sometimes difficult to plant.
