Coneflower is a very popular prairie-style plant. The flowers are typically a nice mauve-purple daisy type flower. A drought-tolerant plant, they look great in meadows and woodland edges and the flowers attract butterflies throughout the season. Coneflowers usually bloom between July and September. In addition, they look nice in cut flower arrangements!
