Clematis is a show-stopper. The flowers are six-pointed stars that are most common in purple but are also available in pink, blue, white, and red. This vine typically blooms in May and June and though it may be slow to establish, it’s spectacular once it does. Clematis needs a support to climb up such as a trellis, arbor, pergola, or fence and is happiest in sun or light shade. This is a perennial not to miss!
