Astilbe does best in partial shade but can handle full sun if adequate moisture is provided. Fertile, moist soil is key to success with Astilbe. This particular white flowering astilbe is a classic in any shade garden. The foliage has a beautiful finely cut texture. The white bloom occurs in June and July.
